His journey has taken him from prestigious accolades early in his career—runner-up for National Chef of the Year, induction into the Craft Guild of Master Chefs, and winner of the Cherie Granger Memorial Award—to the helm of some of the world’s most exclusive dining destinations.
Chef Hughes has cooked aboard superyachts across the Caribbean, Baltics, and Pacific Islands, owned and operated two award-winning bistro wine bars, and, for the past two decades, has led culinary programs at top-tier luxury chalets and heli-ski lodges around the globe.
Most notably, he was the driving force behind the culinary experience at Bighorn Lodge, transforming it from a construction site into The World’s Best Ski Chalet—a title it held for five consecutive years during his 12-year tenure.
